About Saigon Palace, a Vietnamese restaurant in Burnsville

Saigon Palace is a Vietnamese restaurant at 401 W Burnsville Pkwy in Burnsville, Minnesota. The menu is built around phở and Vietnamese noodle soup, with rice platters, vermicelli salad and a page of stir-fried entrées.

Phở, vermicelli salad, shrimp fried rice, lo mein and more dishes from Saigon Palace on one table

A menu that starts with the bowl

The first thing on the menu is Phở: beef broth over rice noodles, nine ways, from the house special Phở Đặc Biệt with rare lean beef, flank, brisket, tendon, tripe and meatballs to Phở Gà with shredded chicken. Every bowl comes with lime, Thai basil, jalapeños and bean sprouts, in Large, X-Large or Super Bowl.

Then come the other noodle soups: Bún Bò Huế, the spicy beef and pork stew; Hủ Tiếu and Mì in pork broth with caramelized garlic oil; and Bánh Canh, thick clear noodles in chicken broth.

Rice, rolls and grilled meat

Cơm Tấm is broken rice with grilled pork, grilled chicken or shrimp and Vietnamese egg meatloaf, with sweet fish sauce. A vermicelli salad is cool rice noodles under grilled meat, herbs, pickled carrots and daikon, and peanuts. Bò Lá Lốt wraps beef and lemongrass in betel leaves.

To start, there are Special Saigon Eggrolls with pork, shrimp and taro, fresh spring rolls in rice paper, and the Saigon Combo platter for the table.

And the stir-fry favorites

The back of the menu has stir-fried entrées with your choice of meat, from Spicy Szechuan and Pad Thai to Lo Mein and Fried Rice, plus General Tso's Chicken, Lemongrass Chicken and a vegetarian list.
